Using CSS and <table> to create more structure to your page

Starting tables.
- See the handout for specific code.
- The basic structure of an HTML table consists of the following tags:
- Table tags: <TABLE> </TABLE>
- Row tags: <TR> </TR>
- Cell tags: <TD> </TD>
- You can use <table id="mytable">

- When you are done watching video....
- PART 1 - CLASS EXAMPLE Due 10/30/13
- Download file above and make the changes according to video. You will need to create your own CSS
- Compress files in a folder called Yourname_CH13Tables and submit in edmodo
- PART 2 - Your Own Table Site Due 11/1/13
- Then, create your own site with a table, YOU MUST HAVE:
- HTML & CSS files in a folder called Yourname_OwnTable
- Background color
- Grid lines
- Table Headers
- At least 3 Rows and 3 Columns of data
- H1 for your page header
- Paragraph about what your data is talking about
- 1 picture relating to your data, and have it float either left or right so that it is next to your
- Link(s) to the page where you got your data. The link(s) MUST open in a different tab
When you are done... compress your folder and submit in edmodo as CH13_Part 2
